We want our forum to be entertaining and informative. You must be a registered and approved member to post messages on the forum. Most of these rules are more or less guidelines... we aren't going to ban someone for a simple mistake. Just try to have fun, be halfway nice, and use some common sense. Thanks!
- Try to stay on topic. Try not to drift off topic during a thread conversation. Try not to join in with an off topic discussion, even if others are. Instead, try starting a new thread and link to it. Off topic posts may be deleted and threads that get out of hand may be deleted completely.
- Post similar questions together. If you have several questions, it's better to ask them all in one thread rather than creating additional threads. Try to make use of the edit feature in your post to add more information. When editing one of your posts, it's also a good idea to add a note that you added some information. You can also make use of the text color, adding new text in a different color.
- Use short and concise thread titles. Real simple... make your thread titles short and descriptive as possible.
- Do not double post. If you post additional replies and posts by mistake, please delete the duplicate replies.
- No offensive, insulting, profane or vulgar remarks. We want the forum to be fun. Anyone can read our forum, so please remember this when posting.
- No spam. It is totally acceptable to advertise your product, your club, or anything else related to fishing, hunting and the outdoors, just as long as you do not repeatedly post it on the forum. Spam of any kind in your signature or avatar is unacceptable and will be removed. This also includes posting too many links to another website or forum.
- No inappropriate avatars, custom titles or signatures. Please refrain from using blatently offensive images. Again, you can have fun with using avatars, titles and signatures, but there is a line that should not be crossed.
- No pornographic or slanderous content. Simple rule... keep it on your own computer and in your e-mails.
Banning & disciplinary measures - If you blatently break any of the above rules, we may choose to simply remove your post or images, we may restrict the number of posts you can make daily, or you may be banned from posting completely. It just depends on the content and the way you appeared to break the rule. Someone complaining about your post or content will not influence your punishment, but if we get numerous complaints from more than a few people about a single post or individual, we will base your punishment on that. Again... we just want the forum to be fun.
