October 2009 Director's Meeting Minutes

Meeting was called to order at 10:00 am. 18 clubs present  (Clubs absent - Douglas County, Lincoln Bass, Lincoln County, Midwest, Nemaha Valley, Omaha Bass, River City and Twin Rivers).  Excused absence due to date change approved by President Joe Citta. July minutes were approved as sent out.

 

Dues

2010 dues are due in January - $50 per club + $10 per member.

Clubs paid for 2010 - F.U.N. Bass.

 

Rosters

Updated as sent in.

 

New clubs

None

 

Nebraska Bass Angler

Need more advertisers - clubs need to promote this.

 

Conservation Report - Larry Wecker

2010 brushing project to be Summit Lake.  Clubs should bring back dates and number of people to help.  NRD is asking for money for the Leigh Lake - NO.

 

Youth & Casting Kids - Dave Greer

Dave Greer was absent, so no report.

 

Tournaments - Russ Seaman

Mr. Bass - Monte Wagner won with 4 bass weighing 9.36 lbs.

Federation Open at Okoboji - Pat Klausen & Shawn Holly won with 7 bass weighing 15.12 lbs.  Big bass day 1 - Terry Liebentritt & Michael Wood, 4.58 lbs.  Big bass day 2 - Randy Cloeter & Larry Cloeter, 4.84 lbs.

2010 State Tournament - Table Rock Lake, April 25th-29th, 2010.  $2 per boat per day to use What's Up Dock Area.  Russ to decide.

2010 Federation Open - Merritt Reservoir, June 5th & 6th, 2010

2010 Mr. Bass - TBA

 

Sports Show - Dave Knuth

Fund raisers - NASCAR raffle going great.  All tickets to Dave by November 20th.  Drawing will be December 1st.

Raffle - We may try two NASCAR raffles next year.  Get feedback from your clubs.

Banquet - Harrah's, $25 per ticket with rooms for $150.  Looking for possible discounts from Bass Pro Shop, Cabela's or Scheels to draw people to the banquet.  Dropped for 2010 as decision needed to be made today.  Start discussion with your club members for 2011.

 

Old Business

Sold boat package to Smithville Marine for $15,000

 

New Business

2010 Director's Meeting Dates - January 10th, April 11th, July 11th, October 10th.

 

Election of Officers

Motion and second to retain current officers - Motion carried with all in favor.
