Located in Omaha, NE - established 1986.

The club was formed in 1986 by a group of Offutt Airmen. When the club was formed it was affiliated with MBAA - Military Bass Anglers Association. The club was established as a learning club with the teaching and lifting of the skills of all members. The club decided to affiliate with B.A.S.S. in the early 1990's. The club has been involved with youth programs, like the Papillion-LaVista Junior High School fishing club and B.A.S.S. Casting Kids. We have also put on kids tournaments for the local base and surrounding communities. The club OMAHA BASS ANGLERS - OBA, continues to be one of the largest clubs in the state of Nebraska.

We currently have 14 members, with 8 of them owning their own boats. We are currently looking for new members, especially non-boaters.

 

We have formal meetings on the 2nd Monday of each month at Offutt AFB Lake. Each officer gives his report, followed by new business, and then we go around the room for comments.
